Supervision

‘Supervision is a meeting place of equals where practitioners ‘sit at the feet of their own experience’ and, in relationship with one another, delve deeply and reflectively into their own work. Michael Carroll taken from ‘In Love with Supervision’- Shohet & Shohet (2020)

I offer face to face, on-line or telephone supervision.
My fee for supervision is £55 per hour.
I do offer concessionary rates for trainee counsellors.

About me:

I was awarded a Diploma in Supervision Skills from The Leeds Centre for Psychological Development in 2020.

I have experience of delivering supervision to both counsellors/therapists in training and those that are qualified and working in organisations or in private practice. My aim is to provide a constructive and supportive space in which the supervisee can reflect and explore the work with their clients, whilst supporting supervisees professional development, conduct and personal wellbeing.

My model:

My model of supervision is integrative. I draw on person-centred models, the Hawkins and Shohet process model and the Stoltenberg and Delworth developmental model. My model is underpinned by relational value.

I also offer specific case supervision to practicing counsellors/therapists who need support in working with an individual with an eating disorder concern.

The first session:

I offer a free fifteen-minute phone call at an arranged time to suit you. To ask questions or to talk further before your initial supervision.

Alongside or alternatively to the above I can offer an initial consultation of thirty minutes, charged at £25. Which gives us the opportunity to meet face to face.
